We are Colombians with roots, with a free spirit in Barcelona.

Our workshop is a space for slow, conscious, and deeply artisanal creation.

Here, each piece is born with intention.
Persea is not just a gem.

It's a statement.

2021

THE BEGINNING

A journey and a reflection were the ingredients that led us to create Persea.

We are Nat and Cris , two Colombian siblings, who after always seeing more of the same, decided to create and make different and meaningful jewelry.

It all started in Turkey. I've always loved buying jewelry from wherever we go, something that serves as a souvenir and connects with me and our travel experience.

This time, I couldn't find anything that resonated with me . For me, jewelry is very personal, and I saw everyone buying the same thing.

So we reflect: we are all so different and unique , and we deserve to express ourselves as we are. And jewelry, if it's unique, does allow us to show ourselves as we truly are.

2022

THE WAY

It wasn't as easy as we thought.

We are Colombians, we are migrants. So everything was more difficult, in a new country, without contacts, without experience.

We started with the markets . In Sitges, in Barcelona in Gracia, in Sarrià, in Rubí, and so on... By the summer of 2022 we had already participated in more than 10 markets.

We still remember the shopping cart in which we always carried our jewelry all over Barcelona, ​​running from one place to another to arrive on time to show them off.

Finding a way to also convey who we are has been quite an odyssey, but we have succeeded.

Because if there's one thing we were clear about, it's that we were going to deliver UNIQUE DESIGNS, QUALITY and DURABILITY in each and every piece.

Today

JEWELRY AS A RESULT

Yes, we decided to make our own jewelry , with our own designs.

Jewelry that you don't see everywhere, jewelry that is different , jewelry that when you see it you say wow this really represents me.

We firmly believe that there's room for everyone here.

We don't have to be or dress the same; there is power and magic in authenticity.

We decided to launch Persea as a brand that allows you to be yourself, without rules.

They are that very personal touch that identifies you.

Our processes

01

Creativity afloat

Each piece is unique and original. We start with an idea, take paper and pencil, and create purposeful designs that connect and tell stories.

We finalized the designs

We select designs that can be transformed into real jewelry, considering molds, ergonomics, and functionality. We work with expert goldsmiths.

Wax Molds

Craftspeople like Dani or Orfa carve each design by hand in wax, using the ancient technique of Lost Wax Casting.

Metal casting

We approved the final prototype and used casting to melt the wax and create rubber molds. These molds allow us to produce multiple pieces by casting silver or bronze.
05

Final finishes and veneer

We wash and polish each piece. The bronze pieces receive a 21kt gold plating 6 microns thick, guaranteeing durability and long-lasting color.
06

Final Lacquering

We inspect each piece (approximately 90% pass). Those that pass receive a final cataphoretic lacquer that adds shine and protects against deterioration.
