THE BEGINNING
It all started in Türkiye. We were on a trip and it was impossible to stop buying things at the Grand Bazaar.
Nat, I have always liked to buy jewelry from wherever we go, something that acts as a souvenir and that connects with me and with our experience on the trip.
But in Turkey, even though there were so many shops, they all had the same thing.
And I couldn't find anything that connected with me . For me, jewelry is very personal. And I don't know if it's happened to you, but if I see everyone wearing it, it takes away the specialness.
I just saw people of so many nationalities and cultures and thought, it's not possible that we all like exactly the same thing... where could there be anything different?
So after walking around the whole bazaar, dealing with my indecision of what to buy and leaving with more of the same, we started talking.
And in this conversation, we not only realized that we are all so different and unique , but also that there is space for each of us to express ourselves as we are .
And that in the end, if jewels are different, they do allow us to show who we are.
THE WAY
We were born with the purpose of bringing to light that powerful, strong and authentic woman that you are. Of being that powerful goddess, Persea on Earth.
JEWELS AS A RESULT
Yes, we decided to make our own jewelry , with our own designs.
Jewelry that you don't see everywhere, jewelry that is different , jewelry that when you see it you say wow, this really represents me.
We are faithful to the idea that there is room for everyone here.
We don't have to be or dress the same, in authenticity there is power and there is magic.
We decided to launch Persea as a brand that allows you to be you, without rules.
They are that very personal touch that identifies you.
Because we know that there is no one more powerful and fulfilled than you being you.
Our production process

Floating creativity and design on paper
Here we let the mind speak, to express itself in relation to the inspiration with which we have nurtured it. Without limits, without judging. We choose a theme, a concept for the new collection and we draw on paper everything that occurs to us.

2. We land the designs on something material
Many of our drawings do not pass the filter. We must select those that can really be materialized in wax molds or in 3D in terms of design, ergonomics and functionality.
All this from the hands of artisans who have dedicated their lives to the art of goldsmithing.

Let's do it
The approved designs go to their mount and first prototypes. Prototypes are reapproved or edited to ensure that what we deliver is exactly (or better) what we had in mind. After giving the OK, several pieces will be produced. Always always, made by artisan hands.

Gold bath and final finishes
Our pieces are made of brass and silver. Once manufacturing is finished, the pieces are polished to make them uniform and shine. To give its characteristic golden color, we must do the gold bath. We submerge the pieces in 24k gold and lacquer them to maintain their golden color for longer.

6. Quality control and final lacquering
Although this is done at each stage, at the end we go back and examine each piece of each production one by one to ensure that they are all in perfect condition.
Those that pass the filter, normally 90%, will undergo a final phase of cataphoretic lacquering to further brighten and prevent the deterioration of the jewel in every possible way.
